MTU Frac Pack is propelled by a motor of T95 MTU 12V 4000 which complies with the standards of the final emissions level 4 thanks to its engine technology. For Frac Pack 12-cylinder engine is available in three variants of power: 2250 hp (kW of 1678), 2500 horsepower (1864 kW) and hp 2600 (1939 kW).
“Together with the gearbox ZF 8TX, MTU Frac Pack leads the field in terms of delivery of power and torque, offering customers maximum performance for hydraulic fracturing complex work,” said Kruper. MTU Series 4000 T95 engine is also available separately as a 16-cylinder model delivering 3000 bhp (2237 kW).
MTU Frac Bi fuel Kit allows operators use a mix of fuel up to 70% natural gas, as well as diesel. It has a built-in control architecture, specially designed to work in wells and pumping operations. When combined with S83 MTU 12V 4000 engine, using bi-fuel Kit can cut fuel costs significantly.
